How to Use cPanel Softaculous Apps Installer

Below is a simple step-by-step guide to help you get started:
Step 1: Open Softaculous Apps Installer
To begin, log in to your cPanel account. In the dashboard, locate and click on the Softaculous Apps Installer under the Software section.
Tip: Alternatively, scroll down to the bottom of the cPanel home screen. You’ll find a section displaying the most popular applications. You can click on any of these to begin installation.
Step 2: Choose an Application to Install
Once inside the Softaculous interface, browse through the available categories or use the search bar to find the application you want to install.
Click on the application of your choice, then select Install Now.
Step 3: Fill in Installation Details
Next, you’ll be asked to configure installation settings. This includes:
- Choosing the domain or subfolder where the app will be installed
- Setting the site name and description
- Creating an admin username, password, and email
Make sure to complete all required fields accurately.
Step 4: Complete the Installation
Once you've filled out the form, scroll down and click the Install button.
Softaculous will now automatically install the application and set up all required files and databases. This process usually takes less than a minute.
After the installation is complete, a success message will appear with links to access your site and admin area.
